The Leading the Way Luncheon for Breast Cancer Awareness and Women’s Leadership was truly a special day. Held on October 15 at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center, the event brought together advocates and leaders in Caldwell County to support breast cancer awareness and honor women making a difference.
Senator Gale Adcock served as the keynote speaker, sharing powerful insights from her journey as the first nurse elected to the North Carolina Senate. Her dedication to healthcare and bipartisan cooperation resonated deeply with attendees.
Paragon Design Group’s President, Carmela Tomlinson, added a personal touch to the day by sharing her own journey, offering hope and encouragement to others affected by the disease. Carmela also had the honor of presenting one of the service awards to the McCreary Cancer Center, recognizing its essential role in our community. We are truly blessed to have both McCreary Cancer Center and The Wig Bank of Caldwell County serving Caldwell County with compassion and care.
Proceeds from this inspiring event benefit both The Wig Bank of Caldwell County and the Caldwell Women’s Forum, ensuring continued support for individuals facing cancer and for women’s initiatives in our community. Paragon Design was proud to participate in this important day, joining forces with the Caldwell Women’s Forum and the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce to advance these impactful causes.
